Event : Girl child mentorship programme in entertainment
Under our youth development programme we will be embarking on empowering young women at the Girl Child Mentorship Programme in Entertainment Industry on the 28 and 29 September 2009 for the mentorship programme during school holidays. On the 28th of August 2009 we will conduct the briefing session for mentors, girls and partners in Newtown. We are inviting all dance companies, recording companies, theatres, radio stations, television stations and schools in Gauteng to participate as mentors and partners in this project. Corporate companies, banks and individuals are also invited to sponsor and partner with Rhythm Arts Dimension for this initiative to be a success.
We are aiming at providing these young women with an interesting programme that will educate, develop, enlighten, grow, inspire and promote their individuality as future responsible businesswomen in entertainment of South Africa. Expanding choices for people and creating equal opportunities are essential ingredients for sustainable human development. This applies in particular to the women and girls in our society.
